#SolarChat

In November 2011, EcoOutfitters launched #SolarChat, a bi-monthly discussion facilitated on Twitter that joins together solar and renewable industry experts and solar-curious consumers to discuss issues relevant to solar energy, solar PR, solar hot water, solar pool heating, etc. The goal of #SolarChat, which is held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 2-3:00 p.m. EST, is to make solar a reality for every home and business across America.

Since its inception, #SolarChat has connected hundreds of solar professionals, from solar PV manufacturers and solar installation company owners, to solar corporation CEOs, renewable energy association representatives, and other “green” leaders. We have developed into “the industry’s think tank,” engaging in robust, informative, and actionable topics such as solar industry growth, solar certifications, solar myths, net metering, solar and the media, solar financing, and more.
